Food
and lodging for our clients.....
While
working at Back at the Ranch Studio, you will be in a quiet rural
atmosphere on acres of beautiful woods along Texas' Brazos River.
Our location provides a relaxed and creative environment for music
production, but it puts us about 15 minutes from the nearest store,
and about 20 minutes from real civilization. Everything you could
need in the way of food or lodging can be found about 25 minutes
from our studio at EXIT # 339 the intersection of Interstate 35
and Lake Shore Drive\Loop 340.
Located
near EXIT # 339 are numerous hotels, Cracker Barrel restaurant,
Starbucks, Burger King, Pizza Hut, Quizno's subs, McDonald's, Casa
Ole restaurant, Walmart supercenter with full grocery store, Jack
in the Box, Luby's cafeteria, Subway, Dominoes, Wendy's, Whataburger,
KFC, Popeye's chicken, etc.
Be
sure to stop at the grocery store each day before you come to
the studio, and pick up provisions for the day's sessions. Our
kitchenette at the studio includes a fridge, microwave, toaster
and coffeepot for you to use, so bring plenty of your favorite
sandwich fixin's, a microwave meal or two, enough bottled water
and drinks to see you through. The best place to get these provisions
is at the Walmart supercenter right there at exit # 339, or at
the HEB grocery store just south a minute or so on Interstate
35.
For
lodging I recommend the Hampton
Inn, a pleasant and convenient budget minded
hotel right there at exit # 339. If you would rather have a four
star hotel, the Waco
Hilton is about another 5 minutes away.
